1. K-Cups are made of plastic, a filter, grounds, and a plastic foil top all of which end up in our landfills contributing to the further destruction of environment.

  3. The coffee in a K-Cup is stale. Coffee starts oxidizing immediately after roasting and even further once it is ground leading to a change in taste. Coffee in K-Cups have already lost some freshness by the time it’s packaged.
  4. It is expensive, an article in the New York times reported the coffee in the K-Cup comes out to almost 50 dollars a pound.
